Long time no blog...

Okay, so there's been a ton of stuff going down in the last few weeks, but I don't have a ton of time to cover it, so look for more details at some other point.

1. I have a job! I literally JUST got off the phone from accepting a job at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, VA. I'll be their youth director, and have the tough job of starting a ministry from just about nothing, starting with about 6-8 kids. It's going to be wild, but I really feel like it's what God wants for me right now.

2. I'm leaving for Russia tomorrow! This really tags on to #1, because I'd been praying that the job thing would get worked out before I left for my trip, and it did. Check out www.teamkursk.org for more info on what I'll be doing on the trip, as well as our team blog which we'll probably be updating while we're over there!

3. I'm done at McLean! Yesterday was my last official day with McLean Presbyterian church. I'll be sticking around the area through June to help out with all of the end of the year stuff, but no more paychecks. Derrick Harris, the new youth director at McLean, just started working there, and he's AWESOME. I know I'm leaving the ministry in good hands...in fact, it makes it harder to leave! I wish I was staying to work with Derrick!
